ICRAA record-breaking global robotics event The 40th International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) was an important moment for robotics, automation and AI in the UK. ICRA’s objective for the event – taking place in London for the first time in its history – was to increase funding and investment and position the UK at the forefront of the ‘fourth industrial revolution’. ICRA also wanted to boost their global reputation and make their work more accessible to a wider audience. For TFI Lodestar this was the culmination of 18 months’ preparation, in one tightly organised and highly complex event programme. We were given the freedom to innovate the conference’s structure and delivery, create bold branding, and develop a new approach to event marketing. The results were outstanding. We broke all previous records in attendance, sponsors, partners and exhibitors, global reach and media impressions – nearly doubling ICRA’s event-related revenues in the process.
